Altered to Produce any Biochemistry that We Desire.

Life on earth’s biochemical existence turns out to be just a coin toss. If we look at ourselves through the microscopic level we are in fact not symmetrical. At the molecular level we are chiral, and this is the handedness of molecules. Every reliable source of data on abiologically synthesized organics suggests that mixtures of our compounds of homo sapiens are created through natural processes. The molecular machinery that our bodies use to create the proteins and enzymes we need to exist are chiral themselves, so it makes sense we should use all of one handed amino acid or the other. Nature clearly made the choice early on to left handed biochemistry or right handed biochemistry. It was just a coin toss that led us to be composed of l-amino acids instead of d amino acids. As we learn more and more on the biomolecular world, we turn more and more to his world, we turn more and more to this world for inspiration in the design of useful compounds, observing the natural  systems and applying them to engineering bio mimicry patterned works.  The practice of imitating the function of biological molecules is called biomimetic chemistry and it may provide the springboard that we need to create small molecules with the exact chemical properties that we need to accomplish a number of tasks.

Researchers at the University of Leeds have successfully synthesized what they call porphyrin cored hyper-branched polymers that have oxygen binding properties similar to hemoglobin that can be easily created in a lab. Compounds like these someday might be able to offer a non biological oxygen carrier for use in medical applications like surgery. Artificial blood such as this would all but eliminate concerns over disease transmission or incompatible antibodies associated with human blood transmissions. Our ability to imitate life goes far beyond creating small mimetic molecules. In 2010, the scientists at the J. Craig Venter Institute reported they had chemically synthesized a genome of over a million base pairs and then substituted that DNA for the Native bacteria in bacteria. The proof of concept experiments, it was shown that the researchers made just a few small changes between the natural DNA of the bacteria and their synthetic form, targeting regions of the genome that were known to act as structural support rather than those coding for specific proteins. Such a simple change was enough that it could be detected for specific proteins in the cells that had accepted the transplant without compromising the viability of the cells. Further this research will no doubt take us to the next level of bio-engineering as it demonstrates clearly and effectively that the molecular machinery of life is modular and can be transplanted from one cell to another. for example….(the spike protein,,CDH). It also shows in this research that enough understanding and with cautious, dedicated effort, genetic material and the cellular machinery that uses it, can be mixed, matched and altered to produce any biochemistry that we desire. Those trying to diss my name are shown for the fools they are.

Where is the Geneva Convention about attacking peaceful populations who have Peace Policies? Huh?
