Lethbridge really???? You think only Indigenous where connected to the Land? What about Acadeans? What about the French? When were we not connected to the lands?  What about gardeners? What about the all the people who built huge gardens for food, for wine, for farming wheats, and on and on. Beets, and farming trees, flowers, so what are you talking about walking for Indigenous connected the land. I am more connected to the land than Indigenous today. We live off the land. What do you mean we are not connected to the land as a statement of falsity? We did build our own gardens. We planted our trees.  We dug the soil. We are connected to the land and have been for 500 years. What do you mean only Indigenous are connected to the Land? That is a false statement. Maybe they use to be, but they are not now today anymore than any other group of People. Ukrainians are just as connected to the land as Indigenous. French are. Dutch are. English with English gardens. A lot of people in Canada are very very connected to the land by gravity. Fact. You can jump or run for a second, but you get pulled back down to earth pretty dam fast.
