Be Still Now, I ask for Life

Be Still Now, I ask for Life

In 2015 came this descending darkness

Swallowing me up like a wave from the sea

Every little star in the sky slowly burned out

They lost their twinkle evoking a wonder of eye?

What is this that descends upon me?

What is happening to all the beauty I see?

Why did you attack me instead of Love?

What on God’s green earth happened to Love?

What descended drove us quickly to hell,

What happened to the Chimes of the Peace Bell?

Why did you all go into this abyss?

Down through these days it went darker and darker

I could not see anything remotely pleasing?

Everyone spoke a spiteful seizing,

To the lowest denominator of being,

Underlying this vibration of hate,

What are differences in allies?

Spewing the deceit and all lies?

We shall not rape the lands and seas

I shall not rape you and me,

Knowing I feed the righteous and poor,

To help lift All standing to be much more,

Does Love turn to hate beyond our years?

Where did you go between your ears?

Make of your life a heaven or hell

I live on the edge by my Peace Bell.

Pen to paper writing 8 years now,

Where did you go, on this hill at the brow?

Be grateful for life, I will not fight,

Our songs, our prayers, are asking for Life.
