Learning and the Evolution of Learned Responses in Phenotypes.

Learning and the Evolution of Learned Responses in Phenotypes.

Specific genes determine for example whether a species of fruit flies will fly up or downward when threatened by a predator, the laying of eggs, by a wasp in a particular kind of of caterpillar; the mating rituals of fish, the web building of spiders; the specialized behaviours of insects castes and countless other drives and instincts characteristic of animal species. It is important to understand how patterns of behaviour get established. Neo-Darwinian theory and Synthesis of genes are for everyone, including Jesus, not just Trump. It is about everyone having the right to know this education. We are so beautiful as unique hybrids and passionate about our own harmonizing special contributions, and learning processes to be more flexible in our biosphere for survival. Whether it is firefighting, paramedics, nursing, we do our own unique passions with purpose, and real dedication, with learning that is ongoing to be more flexible with job skills, adapting and surviving the best way we can, as observably behaviours prove as phenotypes.

My passion is for Peace for humanity. We do have specialized behaviour that contributes to the Peace of Humanity, not only from our son’s of Peace, but also our daughters of Peace. The more we learn, the more we are flexible, the more expanded our observable behaviour proves this to be true.

As unique hybrids whether female or male or a new species as long as behaviour of a phenotype is specialized to give Peace to humanity, harmonizing with others like Jesus for that goal. No matter what your passion, you in deed are part of the whole. Do it with intent to Love, intent of Peace, and you will find the magic of the design in Jesus’s name our ancestor, and I promise this. Its not for one, its for All in “oneness.” My heart to your heart in “oneness.”

Its important to understand how behaviour gets established. Organisms can make “mistakes” or errors in their behaviour that express errors in their genes. In the Galapagos Islands there are species of organisms call iguanas that swim and dive in the surf for food. These lizards are descended from species and genetically programmed to hunt on land. But “errors” developed in the programme that allowed some individual iguanas to venture closer to the seas. The deviation of genes were selected for probability because that behaviour increases the food resources since the sea-venturing iguanas could eat. By being “selected for” over the course of many generations the sea – venturing iguanas became conditioned or programmed for swimming, and diving rather than for hunting on land. The sequences here may be described schematically as

old phenotype……genetic error, and observable behaviour in environment (would only stay on sea shore)

………….behavioural deviation

………….”selection for”

…………. new genotype….DNA

Even though iguanas were programmed for land hunting, to learn and re-programme the phenotype that is programmed for expanded areas of food, such as sea – venturing, gives the new Iguana advantages over the old genotype that was programmed for just land hunting. Learning permits organisms to adjust to, and to take more effective advantage of a wider variety of opportunities for achieving good reproductive success than is possible for genotypes with original DNA, and behaviours.

Another example is how seagulls have learned to follow fishing boats, making the fishing boat a source of food, and they have learned that outside restaurants, or fast food outlets, or town dumps are other sources for food. That is learning but the original DNA, genotype seagull stays on seashores. The learned seagulls provides an expanded food sources group without changing their genotype, but their phenotype has changed, in observable behaviour.

old genotype…..learned responses

selection is old genotype.

One might say it is essential for a seagull’s fitness that the acquisition of these new behavioural responses now are linked for variations in the genotypes.  A sea gull that is genetically programmed just for sea shores would not be able to take advantage of the opportunities presented such as following a fishing boat. The ability to learn has been “selected for” in many higher animal species precisely because learning is a more flexible and a rapid method of achieving reproductive success than genetic evolution. Learning permits a whole population to adjust or to take advantage of novel opportunities in a single generation without having to wait for appearance and spread of genetic mutations.

Learning gives homo sapiens a much more flexible life, and proves to expand opportunities that without learning new responses you would not have the same opportunities.

Phenotype behavioural characteristics indeed show that learning over a lifetime as life time learners, benefits flexibility of behaviours. These are observed expanded behaviours.

Find frogs in your yard and they do stay if your yard is healthy, but if it not and filled with sprays and dangerous synthetic chemistry compounds, they will leave to find a healthier place for survival. Observed behaviour and knowledge of frogs. Animals do expand areas of environment for survival. CDH
